I AM A RESIDENT

For security reasons, once the information on My profile was uploaded, it cannot be modified by the user. To ask for changes, you must contact our Support Team through WhatsApp +54 9 11 6752 4037.
PassApp is a company duly registered and approved by Argentine Act number 25326 — Data Protection Regulation in Argentina, which is considered relevant legislation by the Europe General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and meets the demands of the European regulation which are not covered by the Argentine act, such as the right that any user has to be forgotten whenever he wishes it.
All the information travels in an encrypted form and is hosted by AWS— Amazon Web Services— renewed world-wide as the safest and most reliable environment.
QR codes are encrypted and dynamic. These codes are generated automatically every 60 seconds (as a bank token) and contain a hash with a validation process based on a unique algorithm.
The information provided by users goes through an encryption process with the purpose of protecting the confidentiality of the personal data. This means it turns illegible for anyone who wants to access it externally.
Only the guests and the user can see the geolocation placed when a unit in a residential facility uses PassApp. No one else.
The security staff only has access to the information needed to control the entry at the exact moment it occurs. It neither has access to the information base nor the entry record to the unit.
The personal data is only shared with the facilities the user is associated to. On those places where he is registered as a guest, the data shared will only be the one required by all facilities and only at the time of entry. These are: selfie picture; name; surname; ID number, driver’s license; images from the front and back of the ID, etc.
The profile owner, the administrator of the establishment to which the person is associated and the guard that controls the entry, even though this is so only when the person is entering the complex, not all the time.
On the one hand, because this is how the administrator validates the identity of the person that wants to join a complex. On the other hand, because when you visit a place, you might be asked to show your ID and, if it is already uploaded in the app, there is no need to show it physically at the entrance.
Only the user, owner, tenant and preauthorized guests at the moment of their entry.
The only reason to geolocate the house or unit is to guide the guests easily towards the place, without the need to give out printed maps.
On the app’s menu, click on the option Join a Place as Host. Then, write down the name of the place on the search tool, click on the name when it appears and fill in the data as regards the unit. Finally, press Join. The request will be pending the approval of the complex’s administrator and, once approved, you will receive a notification stating that you are a resident of the complex.
The administrator of the residential complex is the one that approves or rejects the requests for new residents. PassApp simply provides the management tool so the complex can benefit from it. If the request has not been approved or has been rejected, we advise you to contact the administration of your complex.
Each user that wants to join PassApp as a resident of a complex should download the app, fill in the form with his personal information and join the residential complex where his unit is. The complex’s administrator will be the one approving or rejecting said request.
Within the side menu, go to My Places. There, you can see if you could join the complex or company, which means the administrator has already accepted the request. Once this is done, you can start generating invitations and using PassApp on the complex or company.
There might be three possible options:

1. Said place or company does not have PassApp yet.
2. The place is still in the process of configuration and installation, so the option to join it has not been enabled.
3. The user has already asked to join the complex, so it does not longer appear on the list. To verify this, go to section My complexes in the app.
Go to the app section I´m Host, click on the plus sign (+) and select Send Pass to guest. There, you will see a contact list with contacts that have PassApp installed. If the guest does not have PassApp installed, he will not appear on the list. If this is the case, you will have to press the button below that reads Send a Pass to a new contact, fill in the means how you want to send the Pass and the invitation details. Finally, select Send Invitation.
Once the Pass is sent, the guest will have to click on the received link and fill in his personal information from the app or through a web form.
Done! The guest will have his access QR.
On the I´m Host section, click on the plus sign (+), then press Send Pass to guest and finally click on Send Pass to a new contact. There, all data for the authorization should be completed and sent for the guest to fill it with his personal information.
On the I invite you section, click on the plus sign (+) and select Notify Security Check Point.
Manually upload name, surname and ID number of the guest.
Done! The guest entrance is already authorized.
Not necessarily. When an invitation for a new contact is generated, a link is created to be sent to the guest. Said link gives the person the option to download the app from the store (either App Store or Play Store) or complete the data on a web form. For the latter, the person does not have to download the app. When the guest fills the gaps with email, name, surname and ID number, he will receive an email with a QR which will allow him to enter the unit. In spite of this, if the guest is a recurrent one, downloading the app is advisable to avoid having to upload the data several times.
On the I´m Host section, click on the plus sign (+), then on Send Pass to a guest and finally on Send Pass to a new contact— or select the guest among the people on the mailing list. Then, complete the invitation details and, on the section Type of Pass, select Permanent. Finally, you must add the date and time of the authorization and send it to the guest.
On the I´m Host section, you can see the list of all the Passes — invitations— you have made, whether they were occasional or permanent. On each Pass details, you can see which are the persons authorized.
The contacts that appear within the app are the ones that have PassApp and that were already on the cellphone’s contact list of the user. If the contact does not have the app installed, it will not appear on the list.
It is not mandatory. The benefit of synchronizing is that, by doing so, the contacts with a PassApp user are identified and added to a contact list in the app, so the Passes to those contacts can be sent or requested in a quicker way.
No, it cannot. Each QR is unique and non-transferable. Besides, its validity lasts 60 seconds after which time the code is generated again automatically.
Occasional Passes can only be used once. Instead, Permanent Passes can be used many times, always within its specified period of validity.
1. You have internet and you are not using a screenshot. For security reasons, QRs are generated automatically every 60 seconds. If you are using a screenshot or you don’t have access to internet on your cell phone, your QR will not be the updated one, so it will not work.
2. The clock on your cellphone is automated. QR scanners use automated clocks that must be synchronized with the QR time. If your cell phone's clock is not in “automatic” mode, the QR and the scanner times will not match and the entry will not be allowed.
3. Your cellphone screen is bright enough. If the brightness on the screen is low, the scanner will not be able to read the QR.
4. The selfie for Face ID meets all the following requirements. Make sure the selfie on your cellphone meets all the following requirements: it has good lightning, you are not making any facial expressions, or wearing glasses, masks, scarves, hats or caps.
My notifications are on the side menu in the app. There, you can see a record of the last notifications sent. For instance, you can see the entry and exit of guests, the Passes received by guests, the acceptance of a request to join a complex, etc.
Within My notifications, you can see entries and exits registered in a unit by the safety guard from the residential complex.
This happens only if the safety guard wrongly selects a user as host, but, in fact, the guest was not supposed to go to that unit. PassApp is only in charge of informing the resident of the guest´s entry through a notification, but it is the guard who should choose the guest’s destinations correctly. If this happens, we advise you to contact the safety guard to seek clarification.

In order for the user to be completely registered, the following 4 sections should be filled in My profile (side menu), where applicable: User’s profile, Vehicles, Driver’s License, Registration as provider. If you load said data on the app, you will be able to accelerate the entry to the complex.

I AM NEW

PassApp is a shared platform for controlled access and identification of individuals. It has been thought to simplify and accelerate the processes that require identity validation and access permits in order to enter a building or event which needs previous authorization.
With PassApp, entries to your complex are 100% contactless, quicker and safer.
You must download PassApp from the store on your cell phone. When accessing the app, click on the option Create a user and fill in the gaps with your personal information.
Users can join their respective places to be hosts. The host can send access Passes to his guests so they can enter the building promptly with a QR code which contains the information of both the invitation and the guest. This code will be scanned at the entrance. The safety guard will validate each guest´s data and PassApp will notify the host automatically that his guest has entered the establishment.
In a corporate setting, PassApp can also be used for digital health self-assessments, as well as for the booking of shared spaces such as desks, rooms, auditorium and parking spots.
